Every year at Pharmaseekers we make a donation to a charity at Christmas time. We decide between us as a group which charity will receive our donation.
This year we’ve opted to split to our donation between two very worthy causes: Kidney Research UK and East Lancashire Hospice
After being diagnosed with kidney disease this year, Kidney Research UK is a charity that is personal to Shabana.
Kidney disease is a silent killer. There are three million people in the UK with it right now and there is no cure. Kidney Research UK is the leading charity committed to developing treatments, patient information and raising vital public awareness to help save lives. East Lancashire Hospice is an organisation local to us that helps people with life-limiting illnesses. They provide many different services to assist people & their families in their time of need and we’ve admired their work for a long time. More information can be found here on their website.
